Bill B. Thomson, December 2, 2014, age 89 of Hendersonville. Preceded in death by his parents, Horatio and Margaret Thomson; son, Billy Thomson, Jr. Daughter, Margaret Nell Thomson. Survived by his wife of 44 years, Charlotte Thomson; children, Nan Kluesner, Matthew (Casey) Thomson; grandchildren, Toni L. Majors, Bryan Kluesner, McKenzie Thomson, Scarlett Thomson; great-grandchild, Audrie Kluesner; brother, Robert Polk Thomson. Bill was diagnosed as a child with Type I diabetes, and was the only living person on insulin for over 84 years. Visitation will be at Cole & Garrett Funeral Home, Goodlettsville Thursday from 4-8pm. Chapel service will be Friday at 12noon with interment to follow at Spring Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
