Waiting to receive her in heaven are her precious daughter, Sheree, and her parents, William and Dorothy McNabb. Betty was a 1957 graduate of East High School and after raising her children, she was employed and retired from Sears with 30 years service. Betty will be remembered for her devotion to her family and her love of her God. She was wife, mama, Nanny, sister to her family and friend to all who knew her. The family wishes to extend a special appreciation to Dr. Laura McClure-Barnes and her staff at Tennessee Oncology Associates and to Alive Hospice for their love and compassion. She is survived by her husband of 49 years, George William Pennington and sons, Chip Pennington and Jeff Tina Pennington; grandsons Tyler Goode, Zach and Denver Pennington, and Kyle Pennington; a sister, Nancy Ralph Barrett, Hendersonville; also, her beloved dog, C.J. Visitation will be from 2-4pm and 6-8pm on Monday, December 26. Funeral services will be at 2pm on Tuesday at Hendersonville Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Glenn Weekly
and Bro. Dick Atkinson officiating. Active Pallbearers will be Billy Barrett, Kent Barrett, Tyler Goode, Zach Pennington, Ralph Barrett, Denver Pennington, Jeff Pennington and Chip Pennington. Honorary Pallbearers are Mark Miller, Johnny Pennington and John Pennington, Jr. Interment will be in Hendersonville Memory Gardens.
