Betty Jamerson

Betty Jo Jamerson, 79, of Kentucky and a longtime resident of middle Tennessee, passed away Monday, April 27th at the Medical Center at Bowling Green, Kentucky. Born November 25, 1940, she was the daughter of the late Duard Ferris Walker and Katie Marie (Binkley) Walker. Betty Jo had worked for the State of TN Tax Department for many years and continued to work for Food Lion in her retirement. She enjoyed watching sports, especially Vanderbilt Basketball and Football. She had an engaging personality and was known as the family jokester. Betty Jo is survived by her son, James G. "Greg" Jamerson; three sisters, Barbara Wooten, Bonnie Binkley and Frankie Sue Sorrells; two brothers, Ferris Dale Walker and Eddie Buford Walker; and her former husband, James Harry Jamerson, Jr. There will be no public services at this time. Arrangements were entrusted to Cole & Garrett Funeral Home of Goodlettsville, TN.
