Betty Sue "Sam" Baker, age 81 of Goodlettsville, passed away on March 4, 2020. She was preceded in death by her parents, William Smotherman, Sr., and Gustine Matthews; siblings, Billy Ray Smotherman, Shirley Ann Anargyros, and Brenda Gail Case. She is survived by her siblings, Glenn (Linda) Crumpton, Arthur Smotherman, and Saskia McFall as well as several nieces, nephews, and extended family. Betty Sue was a graduate of Goodlettsville High School, and worked many years as an executive secretary as well as in the Jewelry business. Visitation will be at Cole & Garrett Funeral Home, Goodlettsville Sunday March 8 from 2-6 pm., and Monday March 9 from 1pm until service time at 2pm. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
