Benjamin F. McWhorter, Jr., age 88 of White House, passed away Wednesday, June 4, 2014 at his home.
Mr. McWhorter was preceded in death by his parents; 3 brothers; a daughter; a grandson; and a daughter-in-law.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Dora McWhorter; son, Frank McWhorter; daughter, Beth Phillips (Steve); 5 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. Friday, at the Cole & Garrett Funeral Home, Goodlettsville.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday in the funeral home chapel, with Pastor Johan McGreggor officiating. Burial will follow in the Spring Hill Cemetery.
