Beatrice Higgins

HIGGINS, Beatrice Ellis, age 97 of Nashville, was born January 4, 1911 and passed away January 3, 2009 after a brief illness. Mrs. Higgins was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Thomas Franklin Higgins; sisters, Elizabeth Adams, Mary Catherine Leech; brother, Jimmy Ellis; and parents, John and Susie Ellis. She is survived by her daughter, Shirley Higgins Richard Kimbro, of Nashville; son, Ralph Higgins, of Melbourne, FL, 5 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren. She was a member of Charlotte Heights Church of Christ. Graveside services will be conducted on Tuesday, January 6, 2009 at 1:30 P.M. from Woodlawn Memorial Park with Darrell Blankenship officiating.
