HAMPTON, Barbara Ann, September 12, 2007, age 65 of White House. She was preceded in death by her mother, Amy Adelle Estes Gooding, and step-father, Roy Norton Gooding. Survived by her husband of 49 years, Troy Lyle Hampton, sons, Terry Lyle Norton Hampton (Belinda), and Timothy Hogan Hampton (Shellie); grandchildren, Everet Hampton (Karie), Seth Hampton, and Joshua Hampton; sisters, Linda Wheeler, Brenda Winfrey, and Judy Anglin; several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Hampton was the owner of Hampton Construction and Electric for 18 years, and was a member of Rayon City Baptist Church. Visitation will be at Cole & Garrett Funeral Home White House, where the family will receive friends Friday from 10 - 8 p.m., and Saturday from 10 a.m. until service time at 2 p.m. with Bro. Jack Sprinkle, and Bro. Michael Duff, officiating. Interment Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be sons, grandsons, and great-nephew Ethan Blair.
