Althea Gann

Mae Sorrells Gann passed away on March 31st, 2021 at the age of 87 and will be laid to rest on April 3rd. Mae was a woman who always put others first. She was loved by so many who were fortunate to have had her in their lives. She was born in Madison, TN and married Roy Gann in 1952 and had three children, Brenda Easler, Larry Gann and Penny Luther.
She devoted her time to her family while the children were growing up. As time went by she had always had an interest in the medical field and went into nursing. In her retirement years, she and Roy worked for the Corps of Engineers as park attendants at the Cages Bend campground in Hendersonville, TN. They absolutely loved being part of that community.
She will be missed greatly and will be remembered with love and joy. She is survived by her daughters, Brenda Easler and Penny Luther, her seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Roy Gann and her son Larry Gann.
The service will be for family only, at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. Cole and Garrett Funeral Home, Goodlettsville, is in charge of arrangements.
