Adam Lester

Adam Lester, age 37, passed away and is at peace. He is survived by his devoted wife Akiko, their beloved sons, David and Ian, his parents, David and Ruth Lester, and three siblings, Amber, Gene, and Nicholas. A Mass in his honor took place Saturday at of Our Lady of the Lake Church in Hendersonville, where he was remembered by family members as a man who made others feel uniquely special and important. Adam spent 9 years in the Navy, most recently as an Information Systems Technologist and Systems Security Specialist. He served two tours in the Middle East, one with the Navy in the Persian Gulf, and one tour on special attachment to the Army on the ground in Afghanistan. The Army awarded him the Army Medal of Commendation for his service to them. Adam was a loving and nurturing soul, who will be tremendously missed by his family and friends, and whose memory will be honored for the years that he gave to them.
