    Katie’d main expression included a
a bright smile. I am honored to have been her friend at Brook Hollow Baptist Church, and can see her smiling face now in Heaven, where she will be joyously greeted, happy and pain free, by her many friend and relatives there….mostly to meet Our Lord face to face. Wilma Lanier

I have known Katie, along with her sister, Sammie Gorin, since 1985. We all went to the same church, Brook Hollow Baptist. We would love to talk about flowers. Her sister lived up the street from me. I will miss Katie and her special smile.

Dear Jane, Gail, Don O. and Family,
We were so very sorry to hear of Aunt Katie’s passing. She was a great mother to all of you and a great Aunt to me. I have SO many wonderful memories growing up and through my adult life of her. I always looked forward to our visits. I loved her smile and the wisdom she would bestow. I’m so glad we got to see her in June. Aunt Katie will always be in a special place in my heart and will not really ever die.
I know this time is hard but know God is there to lift you up and carry you through.
My prayers are with you all.
    God Bless,
    Trish and Chuck

Aunt Katie, you are the greatest aunt I ever had. Thanks for all the wonderful things you did for me, and they were many, indeed! Now you can take your well-deserved place in heaven, and I hope you’re close to my mom and dad. I will always love you, and now I’ll miss you, too, but someday I’m sure we’ll meet again in heaven. Enjoy the sunshine of his eternal grace; you have truly earned it. I love you, Katie.
