I’ve known Bill for 25 years. He was a very soft spoken and nice man who loved to talk to anyone who would walk by. He talked about his Daughter Shelby all the time and was so proud of her and loved her so very much. Bill will be missed and not forgotten. Rest in Peace my friend.

    “The Broken Chain”

    We little knew that day,
God was going to call your name.
In life we loved you dearly,
In death, we do the same.

It broke our hearts to lose you.
    You did not go alone.
For part of us went with you,
The day God called you home.

    You left us beautiful memories,
Your love is still our guide.
And although we cannot see you,
You are always at our side.

    Our family chain is broken,
    And nothing seems the same,
But as God calls us one by one,
    The chain will link again.

Great guy and could tell great fishing stories. We will miss him a bunch, all of us that use to hang out at Old Hickory Lake (Shutes Branch) together. All of our thoughts and prayers go out to him and family, God Bless all. R. I. P. Bill

Dear Susan, Mike, Wendy, Barbara & all the Nickens family,

I’ve decided God has some special project/plan for these dear young souls that have left us of late – at least that’s what I tell myself to make me feel a little better after so much loss. I am heartbroken for all of you. I pray Billy and Terry are in a beautiful place looking down to help guide the rest of us. We will certainly need their help to make it through.

    Love to all,
    Cathy & John Myers

May the Lord embrace all of you and give you the comfort and love that you need. Bill was a very kind and gentle soul.He often would come up to me and tell a joke or tease me daily. I am blessed to have known him.
