WHICKER, Linda age 65, September 17, 2009. Survived by loving husband of 44 years, Bob Whicker; daughter, Susie Jeff Williams; son, John Robin Whicker; grandchildren, Zach and Victoria Williams, Jessica and Abigail Whicker; mother, Vernon Griffin-Harvey; sisters, Carolyn Lathrope and Faye Turner. The funeral service will beat 10 am, Monday, September 21, 2009 at West Harpeth Funeral Home. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Alive Hospice, 1718 Patterson St., Nashville, TN 37203 or Gideons International, 50 Century Blvd Nashville, TN 37214. Interment at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens. Visitation, Saturday, 4-8 p.m. and Sunday, 2-8 p.m.at WEST HARPETH FUNERLA HOME 6962 Charlotte Pk 615 352-9400

    I went to school with Linda at Cohn. We also lived on Freedom Dr. back in 1971-72. I remember Linda as energetic, witty, and sweet. I am sure she was a wonderful wife and mother.
