WATSON, Mary Edith Judd, age 87, Nashville, April 10, 2011. Preceded in death by Rev. Harlon Watson. Survived by son, Mark Carolyn Watson; grandchildren, Cindy Gregg Hale and Jamie Erin McFerrin; three great-grandchildren; half-sister, Sara Wallace; half-brother, Marshall Judd; devoted friend, Syble Mitchell. The funeral service will be 3 p.m., Tuesday, April 12, 2011 at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home with Rev. Maury Norman, Rev. Ben Wakefield and Rev. Rickey Page officiating. Interment at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be the ministers of Nashville Presbytery of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church and the Elders of West Side Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Visitation, Monday, 3-8 p.m. and Tuesday, 12 noon until the time of service at HARPETH HILLS FUNERAL HOME, 9090 Hwy 100, Nashville, TN 615-646-9292.

    Mark,sorry for your loss. You will miss her for some time as I know you spoke with her daily and more. You were a good son and certainly did your best to see to her needs,but she is at rest now. Sincerely, Reba Swann

    Mark, I am so very sorry that your Mother has passed on. I am very pleased that I had an opportunity to meet her.I know she loved you immensely and you her. I know it has been so very hard on you over the past year or so. I do hope that you will find some peace and comfort knowing she is anewed and in the hands of a most loving God. God Bless you.

    Mark and Family,

    I knew your mother when she worked with the Soil Lab. She was a special lady, and I was blessed by her presence when we would drive together from Bellevue to the Ellington Agricultural Center during times of bad weather.
