TARPLEY, Harry Arnold Sr., age 75 passed away October 21, 2011. Harry was the founder of H&T Carpet. He was a long time member of Hendersonville First Baptist Church and the Bluegrass Country Club. He is preceded in death by brothers, Lewis, Lamar, Terrell, and Jack Tarpley; sisters, Juanita Kiser and Ann Landers. He is survived by son, Harry Arnold Tarpley, Jr.; daughter, Avis Michelle Tarpley; grandchildren, Sara and Trey Tarpley; brother, Robert Tarpley; sister, Becky Tarpley; In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hendersonville First Baptist Toy Store. A life celebration service will be held on Monday, October 24, 2011 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Roger Luther officiating at Hendersonville Funeral Home.     Harry and the entire Tarpley family have always meant so very much to me. I have never met a more loving family who would do anything to help anyone. I will miss Harry greatly and treasure all the special memories we shared. Harry Jr. and Michelle you are both in my thoughts and prayers and wish I could be there with you and the family.     Harry Sr. was a very special man and friend. His sense of humor, generousity and heart, knew no bounds.He was greatly loved and will be forever missed. Our love and prayers to Harry Jr.and Bob, in their time of grief. A special hug and prayer for sweet Michelle, we love you.

    The Tarpley family has meant so much to our family all these thirty-something years that we have been associated with them. HARRY’S sense of humor and big personality will be missed greatly.
