I worked with Shelby at Bob Evans for almost 1 year. I will miss her smile and crazy wit, I will miss the crazy talks we use to have. Shelby was a great person who will be dearly miss, and left to soon. She is with the angels and watching over everyone who loved her. May god be with her family and friends as the try to get through this hard time and sorrow of her not being with us.

I met Shelby at APSU in the fall of 2012. As a fellow pre-med student I was impressed by her intelligence, humor, and sincerity.

Last year she was, without a doubt, the best organic chemistry lab partner I could have asked for! We ended up with the worst lab bench– in the corner, beside the only scale, with lab equipment that was either missing or broken. Still, I wouldn’t have changed a thing. It certainly made for interesting labs and I enjoyed working with her.

When we saw each other we often talked about our plans for the following semester and the future. I was so excited to see what an amazing physician or researcher she would become.

I want to send my condolences to her family and friends. Shelby was such a wonderful person and she will be missed.
