Benny and family, – my heart breaks for your loss as I know what it’s like to lose the love of your life after 40 years. At the same time I’m happy for Sarah. She’s no longer sick and has no pain. One of God’s singers has gone home and waits for the rest of us to sing I’ll Fly Away. Sarah was a special lady and will be greatly missed. I love you all and wish you peace at this time.

    In Christian love,
    Ed and Betty Fielding

To Benny and all of the children and grandchildren,

Many are the memories I have and cherish growing up at New Hope Church of Christ. Sarah was an extra special lady and friend. She and Susan Page taught me how to play Rook and enjoy pizza. I will always remember Sarah’s laugh and how she always made folks feel welcome around her. Whenever I spoke at youth nights she was always very supportive and encouraging. I will forever hold those days at New Hope with the utmost regard and special memory. Benny, I wish I could put my arm around you brother and help ease your loss. I will say that the world is a better place for having Sarah in it and that she leaves a huge void now that she is gone. The stars and heavens will glow much more brighter though. Much love and prayers for you all. In Christian Love, Bryant

Dear Benny and family, Sarah was a bright light, I remember how her smile lit up a room when she entered. As a teenager around her I watched how kind she was to others in and out of church. I am so sorry for your loss, and bestow my deepest sympathy and prayers for one of God’s amazing children. Debra Pendleton Villines
