Pocket was more than just an uncle to me. I will miss him everyday until I see him again. I have so many memories of him. It breaks my heart knowing he want be in his recliner when I go to my mom and dad house. My mom did an amazing job taking care of him for all these years. Pocket lived a long and happy life. Always had a smile. I love you buddy!

Hi-pockets, he was such a special man. His smile was infectious. You just couldn’t help but feel happy when you were with him. We are going to miss you so much. I’m sending all my love and prayers to the family members that cared for you daily. May their hearts be healed with the knowledge that you were called home to Heaven, where true angels belong.

I waited on him at the bank in the early to mid 90’s! Suckers were a hot commodity then. I have been thinking of him & wondering about him lately. That smile was something to remember! I am sorry for your loss. My prayers go out for your family. He was such a gift.

He hung out a lot at my dad’s gas station (Walrond’s Amoco) and I grew up knowing him. He lived at that time down the street from us so we saw him often and talked with him. Goodlettsville will never be the same without “Pocket”. May he Rest In Peace and our thoughts and prayers will be with the family.

We had some good times growing up together, Pocket, you were a fine cousin and a great friend. You tried to keep me on the straight and narrow. You enjoyed our visits when I brought my family back each summer. You always commented about how nice our girls were and wanted updated pictures of them each year. But now the angels decided you needed to rest and to be with them and share your great smiles. God’s Blessings to you in Heaven and our dearest sympathy to family, wishing we could be there to give hugs all around.

I grew up in the same neighborhood as “Pockets” and fondly remember him walking down Depot st. in his bibbed overalls with an arm full of Gazettes. He always had a smile and something pleasant to say. He was truly a Goodlettsville icon and will be missed.
