CALONGE, Robert Earl, Age 84, of Goodlettsville, TN passed away January 31, 2009. He was the founder of Richards & Southern and a member of the Goodwill Sunday School Class at Connell Memorial Methodist Church. He was also a past President of the PCSDA and a recent recipient of the associationメs highest honor, the Sanborn Award. He is preceded in death by his wife, Betty Ann Calonge and parents, Charles & Ida Calonge. He is survived by his sons, Terry ( Sheri) & Jeff Calonge; daughters, Becky Bradley & Janet (Ernie) Lamb; grandchildren, Scot, Theresa, Kathy, Ryan, Rachel, Lindsey, John, Anna & Sabra; 7 great grandchildren; sisters, Pearl Boreham, Marie Jackson & Bonnie Carpenter. Visitation will be Monday from 4 to 8pm at Cole & Garrett Funeral Home. Services will be held 11am Tuesday at Connell Memorial United Methodist Church with Bro. Paul Gardner officiating. Interment to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the American Cancer Society or Connell Memorial United Methodist Church.     i loved one thing when i was growin up that was when my dad vern k calonge would tell us well pack up we are going down to see my buther Earl
    i new that when the van stoped thater in goodlettville, TN it was going to be the best summer ever uncle Earl would take us every where allways had fun just wish i could show my kids the stuff me showed us there in TN the we would allways go back to the shop and he would show us a round nomatter how many times he took us there is never got old
    then he would let us pick out miss priend ts lol that was cool
    well he will be missed

    I went to college at UTM with Jeff. He and I were even roommates the summer of 72. He was probably the best roommate I had there. He was also the last roommate I had because I had a private room after that. Jeff and I bowled together as well. I am very sorry to hear about Mr. Calonge. Please ask Jeff to get in touch with me if he can.
