RIP Rick. You will be greatly missed in our workplace. I always appreciated Rick’s spirit, his sense of humor, and the stories he told. He was a kind-hearted man,and a gentle spirit and we all admired the bravery and determination with which he faced his health issues. He was not large of stature, but his passing leaves a giant hole in our work family. Rest well, Mr. Commissioner.

I had the pleasure of knowing Rick while we were stationed together at Iraklion AS, Crete, Greece and while he was stationed at Ft Meade and I at Andrews AFB, MD. Rick was one of the absolute good guys out there. I lost contact with him in the late 90’s and just came across this today. I am so sorry to know that he has departed this life. Heaven got a little brighter, that much is for sure.

Mr. and Mrs. Hall, I had the pleasure of being stationed with Rick in Greece and we continued our friendship in Maryland. Rick was one of my best friends and I was always saddened that we had lost contact with each other after he moved back to Tennessee. I am so sorry to read of his passing and that I never got to speak to him again. May God bless you.
