    Ralph,
I was blessed with two of the most amazing brothers who ever lived! I thank God for both of you daily. And today, especially, you are in my thoughts very much. I thought that today you deserved a candle because this is your 64th birthday. Happy Birthday!! I love and miss you very, very much! Words could never express how much I love and miss you with all my heart and always will. I don’t know how I will get through my life without you. I think about you every single day. You are in a far better place than I am and I thank God that he didn’t let you suffer. You will be in my heart forever! Give Dad and Ray Alan and everyone a great big hug for me and tell them I love them. I love you, Ralph and I will forever. I’ll be seeing you one of these days and will be expecting a great big hug!!
With All My Love Always And Forever,
    Your Sister,
    Sharon

I felt a great sense of loss when I heard of Ralph’s death. My heart is truly saddened. You never know when the last time you see someone is the last time.

Ralph was more than just a wonderful person; he was always so kind and considerate, not just to me, but to so many others. I will miss him.

And, I know that his passing will not only leave a void in my life, but in the hearts of all those who knew him.

To Ralph’s family – you have my greatest sympathy. Ralph will always remain within our hearts. May God give you strength

Ralph was a good friend, who could keep you laughing all the time. He was also a good battery-mate; as my catcher he would take shoe spikes in the stomach before he would let anyone score on his pitcher. I’ll always remember him as a true friend, and a buddy you could count on. He’ll be missed.

Reflecting on my friendship with Ralph the words loyal and honest come to mind. I quickly learned he loved two things in life, his family and music. Being able to say he was my “Friend” puts a smile on my face.

Ralph will be deeply missed. He was the best friend a guy could have and I’m happy to have called him “my friend”. I will remember and cherish all the good times we had together. Calvin Flowers, Sr.
