I can’t believe you are gone Scruffy. You were always the very first person I spoke to when I walked in the building. It’s been hard the last few days not seeing you in the mornings or at lunch. I miss your jokes already. You always could make someone smile. Rest Easy Scruff. You are truly missed here.

Wow it’s still unbelievable that your gone. I know it’s Gods will but that doesn’t make it any easier. What I wouldn’t give to hear just one more joke, one more ” I love you”, or one more ” I need a beer”. You were the one that could make everybody laugh, what are we suppose to do without you? Holidays will never be the same, Life will never be the same, I will never be the same. Until we meet again, I will carry your spirit in my heart. Love and Miss You. R.I.P Uncle JR….

I miss you so very much already. You were the staff member that had the biggest impact on my life. You made me and I’m sure many other kids at beech feel like so much more than just students. You always made yourself available for us to talk to and no matter what kind of day we were having you could put a smile on our faces. I am grateful an thankful for the times we got to spend together. Rest in peace scruffy.

On days that I was upset about life outside of school, I remember you & Charles would continuously remind me that everything would be alright. You comforted me on my fiancées duty days when he couldn’t talk to me, and reminded me that my service to him was just as important to his service to our country. You are such an amazing man, and I wish I had known you had passed away sooner. I would have made it a point to visit you. Thank you for your service to our country, and the service you have given to the entire beech high school student body. You are so missed scruffy.
