Not enough words to describe loss. But she is now with The Love of her life and in His Presence there is fullness of joy and pleasures for evermore.

Glenda, you will be deeply missed by many, including me. You are the color commentary and detail of all the life experiences we shared, not the least of which is pushing a station wagon across the Arizona state line. Your amazing generosity and caring spirit I will carry with me always. Thank you for being part of my life.

I was making a major change in my life at 33 years old. An Italian Catholic New Yorker was moving to Nashville Tennessee! It was definitely a God inspired move. A lifetime of connections gone and moving to a new place with a new wife and not knowing a soul here. But there was one woman who from the day I met her took me under her wing and made me feel so excepted and loved and “at home” That was Glenda! This beautiful women was like an angel sent to guide my path and landing here. Glenda always spoke straight from the heart. One of the most honest caring and wonderful persons I have ever met. My heart is broken. But knowing that she is with the Almighty in heaven, I know she will never be in pain or suffer and heaven itself will operate more smoothly that Glenda’s there to help!! She will be missed but her legacy will live on with all those she helped with Career and with Life itself. Glenda be at peace my dear sister in Christ!!!

You were one of my heroes. I loved the passion for basketball we shared. I couldn’t connect with other people the way I did with you. You were just someone to look up to. Ultimately, if there’s one thing I learned from you, it’s that life is a gift. It’s a gift not only to the one who possesses that life, but to everyone that meets that person. Time is precious and time is vulnerable. You taught me to live for today–because tomorrow isn’t a promise and today is a gift. Our lives are not meant for our own personal gain and you exemplified this. You fought so hard for time, for life, for another breath; when, in reality, you taught us what it meant to have our own. Thank you so much for the outpouring of love that will be forever imprinted in my life. I love you.

Oh I will miss Glenda. I first met her when I worked at EMI Christian Music Group in TN. She was working with Norman Miller of Proper Mgt. We had the best chats when she would come in to meet with the A&R guys regarding their artists. I had the pleasure of meeting David Edwards and becoming friends and a huge fan of his music. Glenda branched out on her own and I was able to hoof she and David up who was looking for a Manager….they hit it off! From that point on it was a joke as to who I might send her way next. Unforgetable for sure. Love her much!

I knew Glenda through the Vanderbilt Women’s Basketball games. I sat across the aisle from her and always enjoyed seeing her smiling face, even when she felt so badly. She was always pleasant and had a positive attitude. This year it will be so sad to see her empty seat. But she is in a much better place than all of us! Rest in Peace, Glenda!

I am finding it so hard to express how I feel…My dear little Glenda…Remembering our times together when she was 2 & Id bring her over to the house & fix her all up like a little princess & take her to church with Bud & I. So glad we were together for a few days last fall. She was one of a kind..so special & I loved her so much. My love goes out to all the family…Wish I could be there. I have so many wonderful memories of her.She could hardly talk but would use big words to tell me my tarts were “DELICIOUS”. She is so happy now with all the rest of the family that have preceded her. We will miss her so much. See U again Sweetheart. Donna
