Missing Granny really bad right now. I think about her every single day. She was the most important person in my life. I wish I could hug her again and tell her I love her. I miss being called Lurch. I miss being hit on the back of the head. I miss her calling me at 7 in the dang morning just to check on me. I miss the yard sales and the arguments and the hamburger steaks. Life isn’t the same without her. It’s dull. It feels pointless. Even when I hadn’t spoken to her in a while, just knowing she was still alive gave me so much courage to go out and do whatever I wanted because I knew I had someone rooting for me. I wanted to take her on amazing trips and buy her lots of clothes and give her the good life she always wanted. In the end, all I could do was love her in my own way. I love you, Granny. You are missed. You are still loved, and I can’t wait to hug you again, you old fart.
