He will forever be remembered in my heart as a sweet, funny man. Always giving me a slice of Bolonga when I was a tiny child and I would come into the grocery store. He also let me park my tiny bike next to his house when I went to Sylvan Park Elemenatry school. His stories and exploits where something I will always tresure. God has added a wonderful man to his table. I know he is enjoying things we cant even imagine, but I do shed tears for myself because I will miss him till the day we meet again. I love you Uncle Vernon!!!

p.s. My Mother his only sibling living is in extreme poor health unable to leave her bed. But she expressed her sorrow at his passing and how she will miss him. We both always saw him as a strong man and his passing was a shock. May GOD hold him in his hand and bless him in all ways possible.
