To the family of Joyce Hardy,
My deepest sympathies and heartfelt sorrow goes to the family. I had the honor of working with Joyce for 6 years at the City Club and remained a good friend after that. . She had a very good heart. She will truly be missed.
Please let me know if I can assist the family in any way.
God is with you during this devastating time.

I have been friends with Joyce for many years and she was one of the kindest and most thoughtful people I have ever know. She was always thinking of others. My heart is deeply saddened with the news that she has passed away. I will miss her so much as a dear friend and client. My thoughts and prayers are with the family during this difficult time.

I am heartbroken with the news of my dear cousin Joyce’s passing. I cherish the memories of our childhood days in Mississippi. Our home with three boys and no girls and Uncle Damon and Aunt Donna’s house with five girls and no boys. My loving thoughts are with Uncle Damon and Aunt Donna. May God comfort you and give you peace during this most difficult of times. My prayers are also with the “girls” Terrie, Carolyn, Sharon, and Shirley and their families. I love you. Darryl

I am broken-hearted to hear this news about Joyce. She hired me several years ago at the Nashville City Club, and we remained friends. We had not really spoken for several years due to our lives going in different directions and busy schedules, but we re-connected last year, and had dinner in October and I’m so glad we did. We laughed and carried on like old times. She was an amazing woman and I will miss her friendship – I am grateful to have known her. She was a wise woman, a great mentor, and a trusting confidante. Unfortunately, I will not be able to attend the funeral due to being out of town but I wanted to send the family my sincerest condolences.

I have recently lost an adult daughter and I am especially praying for Joyce’s parents. Having been a coworker of hers for a few years at Bellevue Community Church in the 90’s, I knew Joyce to be compassionate, giving, and very, very helpful to me personally. I was always amazed that such a creative individual could be so organized at the same time. Beautiful inside and out, Joyce always had it together. And I will never forget her radiant smile.

I loved Joyce with all of my heart and we had some wonderful times. She was such a beautiful woman, so poised and so radiant. Her smile was enough to ;warm a cold room and brighten a dark night. I am so very sad that she is gone. All of my love to Damien, Donna, and the rest of the family.I was honored to be in your midst for a time.

Words cannot express the deep sadness and complete emptiness I feel about Joyce being gone. Everyone’s words here describe her perfectly; good heart, kind, thoughtful, amazing, wise, beautiful, gracious, poised, radiant…and the list goes on. We met in ’03 but within the last year became much closer and shared so many things. I too am heartbroken and will miss her terribly. Our thoughts and prayers are with her parents, sisters and all who knew and loved her.

I worked with Joyce at Splendor for a short time almost 25 years ago. She was a lovely, smart, focused, committed, hard-worker who never let anything shake her off course. I pray for her family and friends. May The Lord of All bring you comfort and peace. Rest now, Joyce.

I knew Joyce for only a short time; we worked together since the beginning of December. I was just getting to know her, but already admired her for her poise, intelligence, beauty and grace. I miss her. The world has lost a very special person.
