I have known Joyce for about 5 years. She always saw the positive side. I served with her on the MTWR committee- she was a loving person and had compassion for all. I will miss my dear friend, but she is now pain free and walking those gold streets.

It breaks my heart to have to send these thoughts out but Joyce Bowers was a great friend and had a beautiful soul. She and I served on the MTWR committee together for a couple of years and quickly became dear friends. She had a heart for this ministry and went way above her call to do all she could for the women who traveled afar to attend. She loved the Lord and she exemplified it in all she did. I enjoyed the times we got together just to hang out before I moved from Tn back to In to help care for my ailing father. She loved her son and those precious grandbabies! We often shared stories of them. Most importantly Joyce was a prayer warrior..We shared many times in prayer together for our families and others. I love you Joyce and will always hold your sweet friendship forever in my heart. Rest, dear friend and enjoy the wonderful Mansion God has prepared for you and the one you so lovingly deserve. Until we meet again~~~

Joyce never had anything negative to say. She was a beautiful kind and Godly person. Never demanding the spotlight but always keeping the show running. We had most of our family reunions at her house and after her mother died she picked up where her mom left off making sure all went smoothly while hosting probably 50+ family members. Her heart was made of gold. She loved her family. I know sh is enjoying a family reunion with her parents and family right now.

Joyce was a great friend and an awesome warrior for God, her Savior. Even when she faced the long battle with cancer, he wish was for God’s will to be done in her life and whatever His will was for her was just fine! She had a giving and loving spirit and always appreciated even the smallest gesture of love for her. She will be dearly missed, but I am so happy to know that she is in the arms of Jesus now and free from all her pain. I am thankful to God for our friendship. <3

I met Joyce soon after the Titans came to Nashville and she was my neighboring seat mate. I was impressed with her from the beginning as she knew much more about football and her enthusiasm was infectious among our “group” of fans. We became friends and it didn’t take long to see her heart and compassion for others, even throughout her own illness. Her acceptance of God’s will was a testimony of her faith. Even after she became ill, she never failed to convey wishes on holidays and always acknowledged Veteran’s Day to my husband. I know that she is enjoying reuniting with her family members in Heaven. She spoke often of her love for her family. May she rest in God’s arms, free of pain and suffering. Joyce will be missed.
