I remember how welcoming the Bowman family were when we joined the church. My mother, who has Alzheimer and Dementia, still remembers “Joanna” and the friendship they formed as Bible school teachers. Great prayers for Ms. Joanna and this Godly family who take comfort in her journey to Heaven and being reunited with Mr. Ray.

    Danny, Steve, Joe and Adam,
I am just reading this and am so saddened to read of the loss of your wonderful mother. I recall how welcoming she was every time I would see her, and how much she loved all of you and her grandchildren. Take comfort in knowing you will see her again. With fond memories and prayers…

Joanna was greatly loved by our family for many years. She was truly an example of a Christian Lady and showed love to everyone. She was very proud of her family and loved each of them. I will really miss visiting and talking to her. She is now rejoicing in heaven. God’s blessing on all of her family.

Prayers to you all! I got to see Ms. Joanna recently as I delivered flowers to residents at Vanco. She always had a smile for me when I was at Goodlettsville and was such a mentor to me in teaching the preschool children. She will be missed. She is at home with Mr. Ray and she is breathing so clearly now. Love you all! Traci Perkins (Hays)

I was so sorry to just now hear of Momma Jo’s passing, she was just like a second mother to me and my sisters, Judy and Linda. She will be missed by all that new her through out her life. We got out of touch with your family as we moved around. I hope this note gets to you all. Our thoughts and prayers go out to you all from here in Texas.
