    Papa,
Tomorrow is your visitation and Wednesday we lay you down to rest. It hasn’t fully hit me yet that my only grandfather is gone- but I know you are no longer suffering and your life is now as bright as your smile was. Things will be so different without you. You won’t see me graduate college, walk down the isle, or have my first baby but I know you’ll be with me every step of the way. You are the best guardian angel I could ever fathom having. I love you so so much. This will never be goodbye- but a see you later.

    Love always- Kaci

My precious daddy. It doesn’t seem real that you are gone. I miss you so much. I know you are watching over me like you promised you would. I think of you everyday, all day. I have a red bird that I see first thing in the mornings and I know it’s you. I love you so much and miss you terribly.
