    Mr. & Mrs. Bozeman,

I was looking for another notice when the name Bozeman caught my eye and after reading, I have to tell you how saddened I am to read of your loss. I was in Mr. Bozeman’s math class at White House back around the time of Jennifer’s birth. It’s hard to believe all the years have passed, but I have often remembered that class.

I am so sorry for your loss and pray that God will give you comfort and peace. Your family will be in my prayers.

    Bill & Arleen,

We heard about your loss too late to share your grief sooner. Now, I’m praying that the God of all peace and comfort will strengthen you as you walk through this valley. I care and am remembering to pray for a grieving mom, dad, and sister.

I want to extend my deepest sympathy to Arleen, Bill and Amy on your loss of Jennifer. Leukemia took my Grandmother last year and now my friend this year. I will continue to walk against this heinous disease that takes our loved ones and donate so that a cure may be found one day. It was a joy and privilege to know Jennifer. She will be missed terribly.

I was a classmate of Jennifer’s at Ewing Park and Whites Creek. We shared alot of the same classes and the same homeroom each day. She was definitely one of the smartest and nicest people I have ever met. She always had a smile on her face and would help anyone who needed her. I knew she would go far in life, it is so sad that it has been cut short. I will keep your family in my thoughts and prayers.

It has saddened everyone that knew or knew of Jennifer. She had a beautiful spirit. My heart goes out to the family at this very sad time. I am Karre Sloan’s aunt and I have been viewing her Caring Bridge website since her illness began. There is no doubt that many, many people loved Jennifer. She will be missed.

I met Jennifer through mutual friends here in Nashville and enjoyed her company at our montly “Girls Dinners”. I am so glad I was able to make the last one she attended and always remember that ready smile and easy laugh. More recently, while running the Phoenix Marathon, I came across several of her friends wearing the purple “Team in Training” shirts with her name across the back. It reminded me of her ever-positive spirit.

She will be missed by so many …

My deepest sympathy and condolences to her family and friends.

How do you write something in text on a screen to describe this girl? I’m finding it hard thru older, watery eyes. Jennifer was my high school classmate, my friendly rival, and fellow music lover. She and I stayed in vague touch after high school. I moved country in 1999 and our orbits never seemed to cross again. I’ve spent today telling people 4000 miles from Nashville about her: how brilliant she was, how open and happy and communicative she was; listening to Dan Fogelberg (her favourite) driving around remembering our classes, conversations, outings and heated agreements. Goodbye, my beautiful friend.

Mr. and Mrs. Bozeman – I am a classmate and friend of Jennifer’s from Whites Creek High School. I remember meeting her in the 7th grade at Ewing Park. She and I had the same classes until we graduated. I can only tell you that this news has broken my heart. I ran into her a few years back in Nashville and she told me she was practicing law. I was a court reporter at the time. She was always so sweet and so kind and always so bright and smart. That’s what I remember the most about Jennifer. I am truly sorry for your loss. After reading all the wonderful things Jennifer accomplished and all the people she touched in her short life, I am honored to say that I was her friend. My prayers are with you and will continue to be….

May God be with you during this difficult time. I met Jennifer through Metro Legal as she represented me in a legal case. Not only was she my attorney she became my friend. I will miss her dearly. She had such a wonderful outlook on life and it showed in everything she did. She should be an inspiration to all of us. I will miss her terribly she was such a fighter even in her dark days. May her light perpetual shine on you during these dark days.

    Bill and Arleen,
I last saw you at my wedding 22 years ago. You were my (now ex-) husband’s best man. Jennifer was just a teen then and I remember her beautiful disposition and sunny smile. I was so shocked to hear that she passed away. I hope you take comfort in the fact she is at peace and hopefully smiling down on you along with her Uncle John. God bless both of you and your family.

There are no words to describe the heartbreak you must have right now. Even though you THOUGHT you were ready for this, you weren’t. Neither were we. We’re sorry we failed to establish contact with y’all during these turbulent months, but rest assured that we “made contact” through our prayers. Hope y’all felt them. We thought of Jennifer a lot, especially on her birthday – 50 weeks behind Patrick’s. GOD bless and we love all of you. Bill and Davie (in Tiptonville,TN) and all our Boys and Girls (still in Middle TN.)~P.S. Burying your child just doesn’t seem right, somehow. We are so sorry for your loss!

Jennifer was more than wonderful! She was the attorney assigned to work with me at Metro Schools. I loved her as a person and appreciated so very much her intellect and willingness to always help me when I needed her. My heart is broken for your loss. Even in her short time, she had a positive impact on many, many lives. Heaven is truly brighter today!

Jennifer was my now 17 year old son’s teacher at Baptist Hospital Child Care Center, when he was about 3 yrs old. She was by far his favorite teacher there. She even came to visit us in Murfreesboro when we moved there. She would rub Marty’s arm to get him to sleep during nap time. He has little memory of the daycare center, but when I showed him Jennifer’s obit and photo he remembered her well.

I never met Jennifer – we must have attended Connell UMC at different times – but I have kept up with her through emails from church. I read her blogs and always looked forward to the next one. She was an inspiration to me, and I know to countless others.
My prayers are with her friends and family. May her light continue to shine through those she touched.
