She was born on March 4, 1935 in Erwin, Tennessee to the late George E. and Sallie Futrell Stone.

Family traditions are something Mrs. Yount instilled into her children. Every Christmas like clockwork she would have them get the ladder and pull down the numerous Christmas decorations that were to be placed around the house and on the live Christmas tree. When Christmas morning came around you would find the family enjoying a country ham breakfast at their mothers table.

My deepest sympathy in the loss of your love one. Phil 4:6, 7 will help you receive the peace of God. John 5:28, 29 assures Jesus will restore life to those who has died. These are wonderful blessings to look forward to knowing your loved one is in God’s memory. Hope this thought brings comfort.

Jean was a lifelong friend and the very definition of what a friend is. Always caring for you and offering her support in whatever way possible. Always sharing the joys of her life and inspiring you to want to be like her. She will be missed, but I will always have my memories of her with me. I pray for comfort for Lenny, her children, and all their families.

Jean was an amazing woman and my dear friend for almost 60 years. She was smart beyond her years and my go-to person when I had a problem. She was a quite saint always helping others without wanting any recognition. She made
me want to be a better more giving person. Even though we weren’t in touch like we once were I thought of her often and
still called her my best friend. I will see her again some sweet day and what a reunion that will be!

Ma. Jean was such a jewel, she was so kind to every person she met. No doubt heaven has another angel.
I was blessed to have known her and working for her.
Words just can’t describe enough what a special lady she was. Her children were blessed to have her and she loved them dearly. I will never forget her smiles.
I look forward to seeing her again, and she can show me the mansions of heaven.

I remember so many things about my special friend Jean, she was always so kind to me being the younger sister of her friend Martha. I remember us all playing jump rope, jacks and in the BIG tent in the Stones backyard. Daisy Mae the cow was always a good source of entertainment. What a blessing she has been to so many. I love you and will miss you.
