THRIFT, JAMES RICHARD “RICK” of Hendersonville. Born Nov 18, 1952 in Milledgeville, GA to James Arthur Thrift, Jr. and Frances Smith. Entered into rest on Jan 6, 2015. Survived by loving wife of nearly 30 years, Connie Thrift; brother, Randy Thrift of Warrenton, GA; brother-in-law Frank Johnson of North Augusta, SC; and several friends, nieces, and a nephew. He was employed as a manufacturing manager and attended Calvary Chapel. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Patricia Johnson. Visitation will be at 2 pm Fri, Jan 9 with a Celebration of Life at 4 pm, all at Cole & Garrett Funeral Home in Goodlettsville. For those who desire to give in Rick's memory, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society (cancer.org/donate).

We will miss Ricky and his upbeat attitude and contagious smile. I can’t think of a single time that I was around him that he was not smiling or laughing. Our deepest sympathy to the family and especially Connie – we love you!

I had the pleasure of working with Rick at Dixie Wire. One of the kindest, compassionate and professional man I have ever known. He will be missed. Thinking of his wife and family.
