I worked with George at Chevron when I first started working in the office. George was the best engineer Baroid had in the GOM and possibly in the world no exaggeration. He kept me out of trouble in my new job and taught me something new almost everyday. I would talk to him for almost 2 hours some days just learning everything I could. George was a rare individual and will be sadly missed by all who knew him.

I worked with George for quite a few years. I grew to admire and respect George both professionally and personally. George always did the best he could and I really appreciated him for it. I will miss him greatly. The world will be a lesser place without him and I am saddened for the loss. If I can do anything, let me know. Bill Brabner

I worked along side George in the field, and was also honored to have George work for me when I moved into the office. I never worked with anyone so dedicated to his job, and who always strived to know everything about what he was doing or what was going on. He was definitely a model for me, and I always strived to get to the same level as George. I know George loved his kids and wife dearly. George will be missed by all that ever knew him.

    I love you Bro.

I had the privilege of not only having George as a great friend for the past 20 years but also having him as my brother-in-law. He was my sister’s soul mate and an amazing father to my nieces and nephews. He was one of the kindest, most loving and intelligent people I have ever known. I am so thankful to have had him as a part of my life and will miss him greatly.

I am truely sorry for your loss. The Geraci family has always been like my 2nd family, despite our ups and downs, ya’ll mean the world to me and so did George, the fact that I am never going to hear him tell me to “GO HOME” breaks my heart. Geraci Family,

George?s life demonstrated that; knowledge is meant to be shared, true love is unconditional and you can better serve mankind by putting their needs first. I never got a chance to say thank you for sharing these things with me. I do understand them and I am passing them down to my children. Pieces of Georges legacy lives in all of us and will continue to flourish throughout future generations.

It seems like yesterday we were playing basketball on Deerpark St.. In a blink of an eye you are gone. May God keep and comfort you throughout all eternity. You will be missed.

My heart felt condolences to anyone who feels the lose of this great man. Good bye friend.

It has been nearly 10 years since I last saw George and although so much time has passed I have been able to recall all the great moments and memories from our past. From the moment I met George we were friends. He was different; he stood out from the usual crowd. He was so intelligent, kind, tender, funny and loving. He would give you the shirt off his back, and whatever else you needed. I just hope he knew how much we all looked up to him and loved him like a big brother.

He was a wonderful friend. I am lucky to have met him and have had him in my life, even for a little while because he will live on in my heart forever.

George was everything good in the world rolled up into a beautiful perfect package He was the love of my life. It was my destiny to love him but if I had a choice I would do it all over again. Love simply will not cover the way I felt about him. He was the reason I smiled the reason I laughed the reason I cried the reason I breathed. I no longer know how to do any of those things. I know that as time passes the pain will soften and I will go on. But there will never be a day that I don?t miss his arms around me. In his arms I felt safe in an unsafe world. I will never feel that safe again. I was lucky that he chose me I was lucky that my children had a father like him and I was lucky to be in his arms in the last moments of his life. For all of this good and bad I say thank you my love, I hope that you now feel safe and that you rest sweetly and softly until I see you again in God’s arms.

Never have I worked beside a person for such a short time, and felt so deeply saddened by their loss. The above friends and family have stated so many wonderful things about George, and I knew him long enough to know them all to be true. I looked up to George, as I could only work in his shadow, and felt privileged to do so. Your blessed family, friends, and Baroid will feel your loss for a long, long time.

He was always ready to help when needed, if only to caulk your mailbox.I could find no fault in this man;he will live in my heart forever. Gods heavens will be brighter this night; look for a brilliant, new star. Go in peace, Geoege, I’ll see you on the other side, Soon. LOVE, poppy

To Our Dear Family and Friends~

We are so grateful for your many expressions of sympathy and care, as we struggle with the loss of our beloved son, George. To our immediate family, we thank you for sharing your memories of George and how closely you hold him in your hearts—we will always have that in common. To his good friends and neighbors, who cried with us, shared our love of George and spoke from your hearts at his grave, we thank you for that outpouring of love and support. To George’s co-workers, we are so touched that you also saw in George the kind and loving man that we knew and were close to him when he was far away from us. To his employers at Halliburton and Baroid, we understand now why George felt so respected, supported and valued in his work and thank you for your many kindnesses to us when we were in Tennessee.
Please keep us in your prayers, as we pray in thanksgiving for your love and friendship. May George rest in peace and watch over all of us.

I have found courage through tragedy, strength in my weekness and love for my family that has held me close when I have been left alone. So in this my darkest hour I see the sun and though It is small and dimm I know that it will shine in me again. I love you George now and always.

George was related to me only by marriage to my granddaughter Kristin, yet I grew to love him as my own true sonn. George was kind, gentle patient, a perfect husband , father and friend. He was always ready to help when needed, if only to caulk your mailbox.I could find no fault in this man;he will live in my heart forever. Gods heavens will be brighter this night; look for a brilliant, new star. Go in peace, Geoege, I’ll see you on the other side, Soon. LOVE, poppy
