Gary was a one-off in every meaning of the word. I always enjoying hanging out in his studio, hearing his latest songs. He was endlessly patient whenever he would help with my own demos. Together we got to see The Who and The Zombies, the latter numerous times. He was a good songwriter, able to deliver in any style or genre you asked. I’ll be spinning Gary’s “Wealthy Place in God” for years to come, missing one of my favorite musicians. Heaven just gained a highly creative spirit. Take your solo, Gary…

I awakened this morning with a song in my spirit – the song being “Majesty”. I believe God was letting me know that Gary is worshipping at the Throne of Grace – totally healed and enjoying the blessings of Heaven. I just pray that anyone who has not received Jesus as Savior would do so today so they too can enjoy the blessings of Eternity with the Father and the Son.

I was the lucky one God picked to be Gary’s little sister. I am so blessed to have had a big brother like him. I had a front seat row view of his wonderful talent as a musician/songwriter. As a child I followed him around because everything he did was so cool and I wanted to be just like him. As adults, our lives went different directions but my heart never did. As I find a way to say goodbye to my big brother for now I will look forward to the day I can follow him again. So, Gary until we meet again. I love you.
