I learned yesterday not only of Mr. Forrest’s death, but also Mildred. I am very saddened. We became friends when I first moved to Nashville in 1998. My Mom had recently died. They took me in as a special friend. We used to kid that Mr. Forrest found me on the side of the road. However, that is how I met him, then Mildred. He was selling his wooden wares at the church with his friend Cecil. So many precious memories. We always had a good time, no matter where we went. After I moved to Statham, we still kept in touch. I kept saying I will be to see you. But with work, never made it. I love you Mr. Forrest…thanks for taking this orphan into your lives and your hearts.

I will also cherish our special times and trips.

    Love, Janann

Ruth called and let me know of your Dad’s passing so soon after your Mom. I am so sorry you had to loose both of your parents in such a short period of time. I had told you when your Mom passed away that I lost both of my parents three years ago three weeks apart. I know the pain you are suffering, I know from Ruth that you did your best to make sure they were both taken care of to the best of your ability. I also know from Ruth that you have been a good and faithful friend to her and that she loves and appreciates you more than you will ever know. I also know that she is very regretful that her health is at the point she will not be able to be there with you but you are most certainly in her thoughts and prayers. Please let me know if you need to talk or just need a friend to lean on and know that you are worth it!
