Our prayers are with the family as they mourn the untimely departure of a beloved husband, father, brother, and grandfather. We loved John’s special touch as he cared for us at Richmeade. We looked forward to his waves of greeting and he always paused to chat when we had the time. He will be greatly missed. Lois and Larry Stone, Unit 83

John is one of the good guys. I am a better person today thanks to the friendship & mentoring he extended to me. He never greeted me without the big smile even over the last 2 months. I am sad today but can only think about how God works and I must not be selfish. Much love my friend. You will be missed. Janice, we love you dearly and will continue to pray for you and your family.

I Know that these are difficult times. I also know that you are and were a dedicated son and that your father no doubt was a good man, because he left with us a good person and a great team mate. Nate please know that God has a peace for you that surpasses all understanding. Take comfort in knowing that your dad was in good standing with God, and that he is better than okay. Those who die in Christ are May be absent from the body but present in the Lord, so he is in the best of hands. Please let me know if you need anything; me and my family are available to you. God Bless you all, Mr. & Mrs Sam & Mary Bromell IV and Family.

John’s absence in general here at Richmeade lately was unsettling enough for me and this was before I knew he was ill. I just missed his smile – the one thing that I could count on to lit up my day…everyday. May your family be wrapped in God’s comfort.

Nathan and family, I never had the priviledge to meet Mr. Foor, but I have had the priviledge to work and get to know his son and having come to know you, Nathan, I know with all certainty than your dad was a man filled with the Holy Spirit, love, kindness, and gentleness because you have all of these qualities. I know he will be missed sorely by you, Mrs. Foor, and all of your family. In the 14th chapter of of The book of John, Jesus said, ” Where my Father is, there are many mansions. I go to prepare a place and I will come again for you.” Last Saturday, Jesus completed Mr. Foor’s mansion and he is now living there in heaven with The Father, and all of your love ones who have gone on before him, and I know that he is anxiously awaiting the reunion with his family when that time arrives. May God bless you, comfort you, and keep you during the coming days, months, and years ahead. I love you all.

To all of the family, I remember coming to your home weekly about 25 years ago to teach Johnny piano lessons. John was always so kind to me and I had no doubt he was from the north with his accent. I think Mamie liked to pick on him alot. It was all in good humor. My family is praying for you! We feel your loss as we experienced a similar battle with cancer in March with my mother-in-law. Love you guys!!!
