I never met Eva, but feel like I knew her through stories Tonya Fyke told me. I was motivated
by her strength and how she lived her life.
Her picture makes me smile and I know she
will be looking down from heaven and watching
over all her loved ones!

My deepest sympathies to all. She was such a kind lady. Welcomed us into the family with open arms and genuine sincerity. She will remain in my heart always. Now she can be at peace with her husband & boys once again.

I always liked Mrs Fyke and continue to think of her each time I pass by her long-time home on East Street in Goodlettsville. My first memory of her goes back to 1954 when she started working in the cafeteria at the brand new Goodlettsville Elementary School. She was always an especially kind and thoughtful person. I’m so glad she made it to her 100th birthday. Most certainly, many of her loved ones in Heaven are celebrating right now as they welcome her home.

To all the Fyke family, I’m so sorry to learn of the passing of Mrs. Fyke. She was such a sweet and beautiful woman and I was honored to meet her at Jerry and Barbara’s anniversary and then again when I was able to photograph her 100th Birthday celebration. The picture shown here on her obituary caught was a beautiful capture of her spirit. My prayers go out to all of you. I could tell she was very loved by all. I’m sure you will miss her, but treasure the memories of a life lived well.
