So sorry to hear about the passing of Sonny.I first met Sonny 30 some years ago. I was a young musician eager to learn and Sonny was always happy to share his vast knowledge with me. He gave me a job in his recording studio and treated me like family. He was a friend, a mentor and a man who I’ll never forget.

It’s so hard to have to say good-bye to my best friend. I’m so much better a person for having known him and his family. He always gave me good advice, and we shared more laughs then I’ll ever remember. We played music together in Roanoke Va.up until late 1972 when he moved his family to Gallatin,Tn.I moved down there shortly after that, and he welcomed me into his home until I found a place of my own.Sonny was a very intelli-gent man.If I talked to him about anything involving techno-logy,I would most likely find myself lost in the conversation be-cause I could no longer comprehend the vast knowledge that he was contributing to the conversation.I’m so sorry for your loss, and that loss surely includes me,too.
