    Jake’s Family,

Chris Whitus, who is our employee, has a child who attended school with your son. When Chris told us of his illness, we were all touched and are now saddened to hear that Jake’s journey has ended.

I hope that you can take comfort in the fact that he is in a better place, waiting for all of those who loved and cared for him to join him when their days on this earth come to an end. Your entire familiy will be in my thoughts and prayers as you go through this difficult time. May God bless and keep you.

I can’t imagine what you are going through. Dealing with autism is rough, but dealing with a terminally ill child and a death of that child is rougher. I could tell from Jake’s pictures that he was bright and very spirited boy despite what he’s gone through. God Bless your family during such a difficult time.
