I have nothing but Great memories with aunt genelle. I loved her cooking. It was always a pleasure going over with my mom to visit. She was my great aunt but always called her aunt. My oldest sister Was named after her Daisy 🌼. I would loved to come today but unfortunately I am sick and can’t be there. I know she is in a better place but still will be missed by many. I love you aunt genelle.

I was a school mate of Genelle’s at Provine High School. I remember her to be friendly, good natured and funny. My deepest sympathy for all who mourn her passing.

Genelle was a true friend. Once she and her son, Jay visited my church in Chalmette, Louisiana. It was a joyous reunion. We chatted for a long while. It was great to catch up on our lives after Provine. Genelle could always make me laugh. She was a true measure of what a friend should be. Go rest high on that mountian, Genelle. I love you. We will meet again.
