Our family was very blessed to have Jessica come for visits. She was always joyful. she did not speak much of herself or her trials. Her laughter was always a joy to hear. She had an infectious smile. How very precious to have such a daughter. We are praying for all of your family to be comforted by God. May He give you His peace and strength in the days to come. We do not say goodbye but we shall see you again in His presence.

I have known Jessica for many years when she was hospitalized on the adolescent med-surg unit 6 So, 8C and then when she transitioned to the Adult Pulmonary clinic at Vanderbilt. I love Jessica and have always felt it was a privilege to have had the chance to get to know her and to be one of her nurses. Please know that she and you, her family, are in my thoughts and prayers.

Jessica and I were on the Station Camp Dance Team together. She was quite possibly the sweetest girl I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. The best memories I have of Jess are how she could make you crack up at anything! She and I had not spoken much since the alumi dance we did for Station Camp, however she always managed to stay in touch with me. Whether it was just to say hi or make sure all was well with me, her warmth, humor and compassion will never cease to amaze me, and I will never forget it. I am praying for all of the members of your family and for her friends. I know the hurt in my heart and can not imagine how that could ever possibly compare to the hurt you all must be feeling. However, there is no doubt in my mind that infectious laugh is filling up Heaven! She was a blessing to me and the legacy she left behind is one that I know you are proud of! God Bless you!

I am praying for everyone in Jessica’s family who is grieving the loss of a beautiful young woman, inside and out. I am going to miss her visits to our house when we have get togethers for whatever reason! She can really brighten up any gathering with her laughter and her smile!! Never saw Jessica when she wasn’t smiling! She had such a wonderful disposition about life in general! She was loved by many and is going to be missed by more!! I know you are going to miss her very much, but at the same time I know you are proud of the woman she became! The Angels are rejoicing for gift they have received! We shall all meet again!
I am Kat’s mother-in-law, and Jessica is the only friend I have ever heard Kat talk about!

I just found out last night about Jessie’s passing away. She was such a beautiful young woman and so very strong for someone who had to deal with illness the way she did. There are many broken and aching hearts right now for those who can not imagine a world without Jessie. But thankfully she is no longer in pain and struggling. Prayers sent to all who love Jessica.

Jessie lived next door to me her entire life. She was the sunshine of my life. My heart is broken, but we have to ‘let her go’ and be happy that she’s dancing with Jesus with her new lungs! And don’t you know, she and Daryl and LeAllyn are whooping it up on the streets of gold! I miss you, baby girl! The hole in my heart will never be repaired. ; Grams oxox
