Cleone Anderson, 84, was received into her eternal home on January 26, 2018. She was born in Warwick, GA on July 6, 1933 to the late Bill and Bessie Carroll. She was a loving and dedicated wife to Grover Anderson for 66 years -a beautiful picture of True Love.
She was an incredible mother to three daughters-Connie Anderson, Anita Watts, and Daphne Anderson, as well as to her “adopted son”, Dave Salyer. She was also a wonderful mother-in-law to Anita’s husband,Terry.

Cleone was a proud “Granny” to her grandson, Chris Edwards and his wife Reanna, and she was a fun- loving great grandmother to their precious children Marley and Mason.

Cleone was a member of White House First United Methodist Church. She will always be remembered by those who knew her, for the acts of kindness she showed to others throughout her life.

The most cherished memories are from her family who remember her selfless, abundant love and complete care for all of them.

More than all of this-the greatest of these is the tremendous love she had for her Lord and Savior.

The family will be having a Gathering for Friends and Family on Wednesday, January 31, 2018 from 4:00 to 8:00 pm at Cole and Garrett Funeral Home, White House Tennessee.

My deepest condolences to the Anderson family!
Cleone was a special lady and neighbor to me and my family. She & Grover shared so many of their memories with us and we always enjoyed spending time with them.
I’m grateful they were able to be a part of my husbands 30yr retirement from the Navy.
Rest In Peace, Cleone. We Love You~

    Dear Anderson Family,

Cleone was such a sweet spirit to be around. She was always smiling, never complained and I know she was rock to Connie and Grover. I’ve only know here since the move to Cottontown and their joining our church. The three of them always occupied the same pew each Sunday morning. Her sweet life touched me and will I am so very grateful for the conversations and times we had together.

May God’s peace be with you all as you deal with this great loss.

Anderson “FAMILY” and you all are like family to me!
I know the hole losing your mother can create but also what a sense of peace and even joy in knowing that there was truly a celebration at the gates when Cleone arrived. Hold on to this in the days and weeks ahead as you experience the loss of your mom here in this world.
Cleone left such a legacy in your family and in others lives her path crossed.

    Much much love!!!!

Grover, Connie, Daphne, Dave and family,
You all have been such an important part of my life. Starting with my first visit with Cleone and Mrs. Carol it brings back so many memories, to the many times Dave and Daphne performed for us and how I can remember Grover so proudly caring the American flag down the aisle during the performance, to watching Connie work with true dedication all of those years at Phoebe looking so much like Mrs. Carol just as Cleone did. My heart is broken too and is so full of thoughts, prayers and wonderful memories. Please reach out and take my hugs which are coming to you air mail wishing I was there in person. You all have been for years so important to me, and always will be. Peace & love to you all. Bland

Daphne thank you for sharing this with me. I only wish I had known and could have been there to say goodbye. Tears are flowing as I viewed this and I only knew her a few years and you knew her a lifetime. I can’t imagine the sadness you are going through right now. It’s amazing how Ms Cleone could touch your life just like she did mine to know her and love her so much. She had a gift. I so loved watching her and Grover together. What a love story!!! She will definitely be missed. You hear people say the angels are rejoicing and a lot of times those are familiar words but I know without a doubt they ARE rejoicing to receive an amazing woman of God home. Much love and prayers to you and your family. Your friend always, Lisa

Connie, Anita and Daphne, So heartbroken to hear about your sweet mother. She was such a special Aunt to me and even though the miles were far apart and we didn’t see your family often as we grew our own families, you all are still so special to me! My love goes out to all of you…In His peace, Angie
