We are greatly saddened about Jack’s passing as he is a great man with a warm and generous heart. We are certain he is in Heaven as he would share with us his faith and belief in Jesus Christ as his Lord & Savior. It’s just sad for us who are left behind, but it encourages us to remain strong in our faith so we too can join him in Heaven when it is out turn to leave this earth and go Home. We love you Jack and are better people with an enriched life just from knowing you and joining our family. Patty, we love you with all of our hearts and souls. We are all here to support you in whatever needs you May have in the days to come. Again, we love you very much!

I love you. I hurt for you. I hurt for all of us. In 43 yrs. of being your sister-in-law, there have been many “ups” and “downs” in the family. We have all hung in there.

Jack was an asset to the process. I loved Jack. I loved his stories, his dry humor, his love for greeting each day with enthusiasam, and admired his Faith. I thank him for his help when Mama was having treatments before she passed. Mostly, I thank him for being a good and loving husband to you. You were a good team.

Wasn’t it nice when the Carty family became part of the Burnett family. It was so good to have Terry marry Jeff and Tina….family. It was such a comfort to have Terry officiate at Memaw’s service when she left us….family. As a family, I know how much Terry and Susan and their families miss their Dad and Grand Dad. I hope we can be some comfort to them.

Jack blessed us all by being Family. I am going to miss him….miss teasing him, swaping stories with him, giving him “big ol’ hugs,” and hearing him thanking me for just “being there.”

If this is the time that tries families souls….and it certainly seems like it…..we will prevail.
    why, because we are Family.

I loved Jack, just because he was Jack, and I love you just because you are you.

May God Bless you every day and give you comfort.

Mark and Dawn, please excuse my error.

JAC was one of the real characters in my life. To a young craftsman, he was a mentor, later a fellow early lunch club member and the perfect foil for several years of practical jokes. Though we roamed different paths the last few years, I will remember him fondly. JAC was one of the good guys.
