Carrie Elizabeth Nugent Craft, age 37 of Cottontown, passed away July 2nd at her home.

She was born on January 24, 1980 in Hendersonville to her loving parents Bruce and Deborah Webb Nugent of White House and was part of the White House High School.

She was a loving and sweet woman and had a true passion being a caregiver to the elderly. Carrie was fortunate to turn her passion into a career and became a CNA working first for NHC in Hendersonville and then for Silver Angels. She gave the credit to her Grandmother who had Alzheimer’s and whom she helped take care of.

Not only did Carrie have a passion for caring for the elderly but her favorite job was being a mom to two beautiful daughters Katelyn and Riley. They enjoyed spending time together playing games and going to waterparks. One of the girl’s dearest memories was the trip to Kentucky, playing in the mud and spending time with friends

You couldn’t help falling in love with Carries beautiful smile and her kind personality. She will forever be remembered as a loving daughter, mother, sister, aunt and best friend to so many.

Carrie is survived by her daughters, Katelyn Kiernan and Riley Craft; parents, Bruce and Deborah Nugent; sister, Christy (Scott) Collins; nephews. Sam and Max Collins; niece, Maggie Collins and a host of extended family and Friends.

A Life Celebration will be held on July 13, 2017 at 6:00pm in the Chapel of Cole and Garrett Funeral Home in White House with Minister Alicia Sharepton. Visitation will be held from 4pm until the time of service at the funeral home.

    I do not know what happened to Carrie but she was a dear friend of mine! Her and I hung out as often as my job allowed and we talked on the phone a lot as well. I am devistated to learn of this! My heart hurts. Carrie, RIP hunny I am terribly sorry! I wish this was all just a bad dream. To Carrie’s family and kids I cannot say enough how sorry I am for you. I will pray for you all in this horrible time.

    Debbie words cannot express how I feel for you at this time at the loss of your only child. Jennifer and Carrie were born 12 days apart and graduated together. I pray the Lord will give you the strength to make it through this difficult time and that He will sustain you and Bruce in the days ahead. I am so sorry for your loss.

    Carrie had a huge heart and a living soul to match. She loved caring for people. It was in her heart. I had told her that very recently. I wiorked along side her for only a short time. I fbecame fast friends with her and I will miss you terribly. Fly high on the clouds with the angels.

    I worked with Carrie in MetroCenter we had so much and her laugh was contagious. I am sorry for you loss. She will be missed. I attended her first baby shower and she made me feel so welcome. I will miss her friendship
