Harold was the principle partner in numerous insulation businesses from 1958 through 1977. But his passion was people. Family members, co-workers & strangers were all part of Harold's daily life. During the years, Harold served as a greeter, building & grounds committeeman, deacon, & Cajun activities cook for numerous Baptist churches throughout east Texas, Virginia, and recently at Long Hollow Baptist Church in Hendersonville, TN. As a member of Long Hollow Baptist Church, Harold shared his faith with almost everyone he came in contact with daily. Usually after introducing himself, he would share his love of God & the saving grace in Christ given to us by God. His laughter, stories, and compassion will be dearly missed by those that knew him. But his life of giving and helping others will live on in those that have known & loved him. As Harold aged, his desire was for everyone he knew to come to know the joy and love that he had come to know in his Christian faith.
