    James, Kim and David,

I am so sorry that Van and I can’t be with you at this time. Violet would not have made it to 70 without the wonderful care and love that she has been given by all of you. James, you have been “THE BEST” caregiver and I will be forever grateful to you, as well as Kim, and David. Violet was MY SPECIAL COUSIN. and I will miss her phone calls and cards. Kim, I will call you after you have had some rest. What a wonderful daughter you have been.
We all know where Violet is.
    Love and prayers,

    Cousin Dawn

    James and Family,
We are so sorry about Violet. She was a real trooper. Dawn and I called her “Cousin Tuffie” because she was such a fighter and never complained. I really admired her for that! Just know she will watch all of us from above. I wish we could be there with you. Y’all will be in our thoughts.

Even though we can’t be with you, you are and will continue to be in our thoughts and prayers. I know that Violet is in a better place and rejoicing with all that have gone before her. I hope to talk with you soon.
