He is preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Evelyn B. Sanders. He is survived by his sons, Steve (Jessica) Sanders & Mike (Suzanne) Sanders; daughter, Sherry (Kent) Gebhardt; sister, Catherine Armstrong; 5 grandchildren. Red was a longtime member of Hillhurst Baptist Church and the Nashville Boat Dealers Association. He was also owner of Sanders Marine & Harley-Davidson of Nashville and Sanders Honda of Springfield. He was also a WWII Naval Veteran stationed in the Pacific on the USS Arided. Visitation will be Tuesday from 3 to 8pm & Wednesday from 10- 2pm. Services will be held Wednesday 2pm at Cole & Garrett Funeral Home with Dr. Jerry Oakley officiating. Pallbearers will be Stephen & Tyler Sanders, Charlie King, Rick Armstrong, Mark Savage and Alex & Bob Underwood. Interment will be in Robertson County Memorial Gardens.
