I have lived in Nashville for 35 years, so it is definitely home to me. "Sweet Home Alabama" is my native state with family still there. I attended Samford University receiving a Bachelors in Music Education. Graduate studies were at Southwestern Seminary in Ft. Worth, TX, where I earned a Masters Degree in Music. My life's work has always been in service-oriented professions including church staff as minister of music, geriatric mental health, retirement communities and serving families through difficult times of loss and helping families plan ahead in the funeral profession. I describe myself as a "nurturer by nature" having always worked in a role of service and servanthood to others. I have 2 daughters, Shea and Lauren, no grandchildren, but several "grand pets." I am a member of Connell United Methodist Church in Goodlettsville.
