Our Staff

Gerry grew up in the Phoenix area, earned a Bachelor’s in Human communication at Arizona State and his MBA. He and his wife Deborah are actively involved at Church of the Good Shepherd in Brentwood where Gerry has been the Praise Band drummer for six years, and Deborah serves as an Acolyte and Verger. They reside in Franklin and enjoy music, movies, comedy, college and professional sports.

Rick Chester is a funeral director and has served as the location manager of Cole & Garrett Funeral Home In Hendersonville since 2006. He and his wife reside in Mt. Juliet.

Barbara Freeman is the Administrative Assistant at Cole & Garrett Funeral Home in Hendersonville. She has been with Cole & Garrett since September, 1991. She resides in Goodlettsville.

Dartha "Dot" Roaden is a funeral assistant, and can be seen most evenings on visitations. She has been with Cole & Garrett Funeral Homes since 2000. Dot is a life time resident of the White House area.

Dot is a life time resident of the White House area. Since 2000, she has been assisting Cole & Garrett with visitations and funerals.

Heather Sharpe is a funeral director and embalmer mainly at the Goodlettsville and White House locations. She has been with Cole & Garrett since December 2006. She lives in Nashville with her two sons.

Wayne has been with Cole & Garrett since October 2002, and has been the general manager of all Cole & Garrett locations since May, 2005. He resides in White House with his wife and two children.

Mary Wilson is the administrative assistant at the Goodlettsville Chapel. She has been with Cole & Garrett since September, 2009. She and her husband reside in Madison.
